These are the essential essential oils I wouldn’t be without. They are listed in the order of importance with the first being the oil you should have if you can only have one and so forth.

Lavender | It has 800 chemical constituents so it can cover a myriad of situations. It’s an antidepressant, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-parasitic, antirheumatic, antiseptic, and analgesic.
It is great on burns because it removes heat and heals the skin (keep using it for days). It helps dandruff, allergies, herpes, headaches, high blood pressure, tumors, and scars and stretch marks. When in doubt or don’t have what you need on hand, try lavender. |

Oregano | It does the most things well when looking at any single oil. It is extremely antibacterial, antifungal, anti-infectious, and anti-parasitic. It is a very good antirheumatic, antiviral, analgesic, and immune-stimulant. It is also a good anticatarrhal, antiseptic, and antispasmodic. |

Tea Tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia) | Best known for its antiseptic and anti-fungal properties (historically it was known as snake oil). Can be helpful with acne, burns, candida, cold sores, inflammation, ingrown toenails, warts, and helps wounds heal.
Excellent for use in homemade home care products (soap, kitchen/bath cleaners, etc)

Peppermint | Soothes digestion. Helps arthritis, depression, food poisoning, hysteria, morning sickness, nerve regeneration, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, and toothache pain. It has also been shown to help improve memory, concentration, and alertness.

Thieves | A blend of highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-infectious oils created from researching a group of 15th century thieves who used the oils of herbs to avoid contracting the plague while they robbed the dead and dying.
It is wonderful for sore throats when used 1 drop in 32 ounces of water as it has an analgesic effect. You can also apply diluted to the bottom of the feet to help avoid getting colds and the flu.

Lemon | Can help anxiety, blood pressure, digestive problems, sore throats, helps memory, reduces cellulite, and is anti-cancerous.
Purifies the air (when used in a mister) and also water. Wonderful for the liver when put in water (1 drop to 32 oz water).

Frankincense | The healing oil. Amazing for cancers and tumors. Can also help high blood pressure, stress, and increasing the activity of the leukocytes in the body’s defense against infections.
